Hi everyone! My name is Zakiya, but you can call me Kiya. I’m excited to be joining the team as I begin my MPH in Epidemiology at Brown. I’m originally from Newport News, VA, and studied Health Services Management at Norfolk State University, an HBCU where I spent two years as a research student. Outside of school and work, I love traveling, poetry, and singing.
